The International Society of Biorheology

摘要

Based on a presentation at the ISB Business Meeting in Chongqing and subsequent discussion by the Councils of ISB and the International Society of Clinical Hemorheology (ISCH), the Penn State proposal was selected with the Penn State University as the site for the next Congress. The 2008 International Congress of Biorheology continues the tradition of a meeting jointly sponsored by ISB and ISCH. Organizers Herb Lipowsky ("Herb East") and Herb Meiselman ("Herb West") have been hard at work with the preparations for the technical program as well as the cultural component that has long been an integral part of the Congresses. Dates have been chosen to overlap with the Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts (http://www.arts-festival.com/). Participants and accompanying persons will also enjoy a trip to the scenic Stone Valley Recreational Area nearby.
