However, optimism for 2014 and beyond remains highly dependent on a terminal's ability to adapt. 'Regulation and politics are what drives and influences the biofuels market,' says Casper Pieper, global director for vegoils and biofuels at Vopak, a global storage operator. 'It is still an immature, fast-growing sector that has been affected by a number of changes over the last few years.'
