Barcelona hosted the Sixth Carbohydrate Bioengineering Meeting on April 3-6, 2005

The CBM series, an initiative that started in 1995 in Elsinor (Denmark), has a consolidated position in the rapidly growing area of glycosciences as a biennial interdisciplinary meeting point for researchers from academia and industry. As its predecessors in Elsinor (1995), La Rochelle (1997), Newcastle (1999), Stockholm (2001), and Groningen (2003), CBM6 in Barcelona sought to stimulate high quality research on basic and applied aspects of carbohydrate bioengineering through the exchange and debate of the state-of-the-art knowledge in this field.
