A new report published by Rockville, Md.-based Packaged Facts titled "Bottled Water in the U.S.," found that during the past decade, the number of adults who drank five or more glasses of bottled still water grew 22 percent. In the meantime, the floor dropped from underneath purveyors of carbonated soft drinks (CSDs), the report finds. The number of adults who drank five or more glasses of diet cola, other carbonated diet drinks and regular cola fell by double-digit percentages, it notes.
