CONCRETE INDUSTRY FIGURES FOR 2005 AND FORECASTS FOR 2006

In 2005, sales of concrete products increased throughout France: +2.3%. In building, the housing situation is still very favourable, council housing being the engine for this sector. On the other hand, the context is quite different for the construction of non residential premises. For Civil Engineering, after the strong showing in 2004, the increase slowed in the year 2005 owing to situational factors, as well as to the decrease in large worksites.
