摘要

Volume 35:3 of Behavioral & Social Sciences Librarian includes two peer reviewed articles addressing information literacy in two areas within the behavioral and social sciences: social work and psychology and the opportunities and challenges librarians face in their effort to make a positive impact on students' information seeking skills. In "Implementing a Synthesis Tutorial to Improve Student Literature Reviews" by Emily S. Darowski, Nikole D. Patson and Elizabeth Helder, the authors focus their efforts on how students synthesize resources for literature review assignments and research. The authors discusses examine how a video tutorial impacted students' success and confidence with the writing and research process.
