The M-ATV's footwell sits at 1.8 metres, so it's a bit of a stretch to get in. The front doors open normally, the rears are on suicide hinges. Each door weighs over 60kg so they take a good heave, but nothing like the hernia-inducing tug of an old Humvee. The cabin is surprisingly roomy for a military vehicle (but woefully cramped compared to a civilian vehicle) and holds four, with the gunner stood up between the rear seats.
