Itau BBA has been growing quite a franchise over the years. It has secured a number of high-profile deals in Latin America, including the world's largest ever equity offering - the 120bn reais ($70bn) equity offering for state-controlled oil company Petrobras, which was three times the size of the second biggest equity deal, the Agricultural Bank of China's initial public offering brought to the market last year.
