With a newly developed fresh water generator, GEA Westfalia Separator Systems has again expanded its product line, providing shipping companies and shipyards with a further module for the engine room from a single source: an ideal supplement to the product range.rnThe entry-level model is the Westfalia Separator SeaWaterDistiller (SWD), with a capacity range of ten to 30 tonnes/day. Medium-term, the product range will be extended upwards with plate heat exchangers to 70 tonnes/day and downwards to below ten tonnes/day.rnThe range initially presented from ten to 30m~3/day is designed to completely cover the freshwater consumption on merchant vessels with a crew of ten to 20.
