Following an official signing of delivery protocols on June 8, the heavy lift vessel 'Jumbo Jubilee' was delivered to her new owners in August 2009.rnBuilt by Damen's Galati shipyard in Romania, the ship is the fourth and final in a series of J1800-class lift vessels for Jumbo Shipping. The success and demand in the offshore industry for 'Jumbo Jubilee's' predecessor and sister vessel 'Fairplayer' (Shipsrnand Shipping, January 2009, page 15), suggests a bright future for the latest vessel which boasts an impressive 1,800 tonne lift capacity across two cranes.
