'Mykali' Mitsui delivers the latest in its 56,000DWT bulk carrier series

Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding has launched and delivered 'Mykali', a 56,000DWT bulk carrier for Greek operator Samos Steamship.The ship is the latest in the company's hugely successful "Mitsui 56" series, of which around 170 units have now been ordered. Delivered from Mitsui's Tamano Works on August 4, the ship is a Handymax bulk carrier boasting a total cargo hold capacity in excess of 70,000 cubic metres. Total deadweight capacity is 56,132 tonnes.
