Mobile phones poised to become mobile wallets

You can do a lot of things with your mobile phone: call, email, friend, game, like, surf, text and tweet. For the time being, however, "paying for stuff" isn't necessarily one of them. Today, mobile e-commerce options are somewhat limited or, at the least, inconvenient. On a smartphone, users can input credit card data much as they do on the Web. They can also buy apps via Apple's or Google's app stores. Or in some instances, they can use "carrier billing" to make purchases that will later be added on to a mobile phone bill.
