USAF Plans Rapid, All-Stealth Task Force

Even as coalition aircraft were preparing for their latest raid on Iraq, U.S. Air Force officials were touting their plan to form a small unit of aircraft that could deploy rapidly and strike more than 400 targets in a single day. The "global strike task force" would take the precision bombing F-22s and B-2s from the two lead air expeditionary forces(AEF) — which are normally in the highest state of readiness— and use them to destroy the most critical targets in 1-3 days of long distance strikes.
