MATE'S Analytics Integrate with Hirsch Security Systems

MATE-Intelligent Video and Hirsch Electronics have announced the completion and availability of their integration empowering the award-winning Velocity™ Security Management System with MATE'S Behavior Watch™ video content analysis capabilities to deliver intelligent surveillance and physical security convergence. Behavior Watch turns nearly any camera - IP or analogue - into an intelligent sensor able to detect intrusion, suspicious objects (e.g., backpack), removed objects (e.g., a painting), and undesirable behaviour (e.g., loitering). The server-based Behavior Watch sends realtime alarms and alerts to the Velocity Security Management System which performs the appropriate actions such as notifying guards and authorities, executing pre-programmed actions (e.g., lock-down, sirens, etc.), and logging event details.
