FUR Systems, Inc. has unveiled the Griffin™ 824, a next-generation trace detector that performs highly-accurate explosives and narcotics threat identification via mass spectrometry. Mass Spectrometry outperforms existing technology on a variety of fronts including the most important - confidence in the results. Utilisation of mass spectrometry for trace detection greatly reduces the probability of false alarms over technologies like IMS (Ion Mobility Spectrometry).
