The website of Tribhuvan International Airport was hacked, resulting in a two-day shutdown. It is believed that the hacker was operating from Indonesia. A series of mortars targeted Mitiga Airport causing damage to an apron near the runway. A light aircraft was stolen from a private hangar at Cacoal Airport in the Brazilian state of Rondonia by armed criminals suspected of involvement in narcotics trafficking. The suspects allegedly turned off the facility's security alarm and deactivated the motion detection sensor in the hangar in order to gain access to the aircraft
