Installing an AoA indicator isn't just a bolt-on and go kind of thing. Instead, the sensing unit, ideally mounted under the wing, and the cockpit indicator need to be calibrated and configured for each airplane. That's done by test-flying the installation, and adjusting the device so it accurately presents the desired information.
