Bill Moffitt, principal of NavWorx, assured us we'd have one of the first boxes coming out of the production run after the 2011 AirVenture show. Even so, it was eight weeks before it arrived. In the end, the delay was worthwhile, because it gave us time to sort out the rewiring that was required to free up a high-speed port on our GRT Horizon I EFIS and still maintain the redundancy we demanded between the two EFIS and AHRS units in the aircraft.
