Training For Risk

I read with much interest and some concurrence the articles on risk management and risk mitigation, but I don't see discussed or emphasized what I believe is the most important factor in this whole approach. That is the inner nature of the individual pilot and CFI with respect to how they see risks based on each person's unique personality.
