The 2013 Paris Air Show will be remembered for two things in particular: the first public appearance of the Airbus A350 and the launch of the Boeing 787-10. It will be the 787 family's largest variant and already has 102 orders from five customers. Boeing revealed that the latest Dreamliner variant has been on the drawing board since the 787 programme was launched more than a decade ago.
