Progress with Dassault SMS

French manufacturer Dassault has completed detailed design work on its new business jet, the SMS (Super Mid-Size) and begun building the prototype at its Merignac factory. Full details of the SMS are expected to be given at the National Business Aviation Association's (NBAAs) annual Convention and Exhibition in Las Vegas in October, but the new twin-engine aircraft is expected to fit between the Falcon 2000 and the Falcon 7X and will replace the Falcon 900.
