A new Saudi Arabian carrier is set to be launched - Saudi Gulf Airlines will be based at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam and will be equipped with 16 Bombardier CSeries 300s. These aircraft, plus ten options, were ordered by Dammam-based Al Qahtani Aviation Company at the recent Bahrain International Airshow in a deal valued at $1.99bn (if the options are taken).
