Flybe Reshapes its Network

Flybe, Europe's largest independent regional airline, is to expand its route network considerably from Birmingham Airport from April. Seven new routes include a six times a week service to Florence; daily links to Cologne; a six times a week connection to Toulouse; a five times a week service to Alicante and four times a week to Bordeaux, Palma de Mallorca and Porto. The airline is to base a further three Embraer 175s at the West Midlands facility bringing the based total to 12 aircraft - a move that will create 50 new jobs.
