Konya Cafe

A former Fly Air Airbus A300 is being reassembled from major components to become a cafe in the Turk Yildizlari Parki, close to Konya Airport, Turkey. The aircraft, A300B2 TC-FLJ (c 82) first flew on August 8, 1980 and began life operating for Toa Domestic Airlines (later Japan Air System) as JA8464. Fly Air acquired the aircraft from Japan Airlines and leased it to Saudia during December 2004 and January-February 2006. Following the second lease, the aircraft was parked up at Istanbul and Fly Air subsequently ceased operations. The aircraft was officially withdrawn from use on June 30, 2010 and it was dismantled and transported to Konya during 2014.
