Museum at McMinnville

As a follow up to the Me 262 article in the February issue, I thought you would be interested to know there is another example on display. A replica - not that anyone could tell - can be found in the superb Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum at McMinnville in Oregon, which I visited last August with my daughter. Another item worth mentioning (besides the Spruce Goose, obviously) is the SR-71A. It is the only Blackbird I have seen where the J58 engine is shown in the lowered position (complete with the folded wing to facilitate its removal) and open sensor bays.
