PAC750 to be Built in China

Beijing Navigation Changzhou Aircraft Industry Co (BNCAG) is to produce the Pacific Aerospace PAC750 utility aircraft for the expanding Chinese market. The PAC750 is certificated in 20 countries and is powered by a PT6A turboprop. To date, 100 of the PAC750s have been built at the Hamilton, New Zealand plant of Pacific Aerospace (PAC). PAC produces five to ten aircraft each year, and they are widely used for package freight, skydiving and survey At the end of October, Beijing General Aviation started construction of a 31,600sq ft (46,320m~2) production plant for BNCAG in the Changzhou High-Tech Zone Aviation Industrial Park. The Aviation Park has been allocated an area of controlled airspace spanning 0.68sq miles (1.75km~2) to an altitude of 3,000m (9,843ft) to facilitate testing of prototype and production aircraft. BNCAG intends to build up production of the aircraft (designated P750) to 70 units annually.
