Dexter Refocuses

RUSSIAN AIR taxi firm Dexter has scrapped its scheduled operations as part of an exercise to refocus its business. The new strategy, under which the carrier will concentrate on aeromedical and charter services, was prompted by the Volga Federal District's decision to withdraw air transport subsidies, a move Dexter said had imposed "sizeable losses" on the carrier. The Moscow-based company has endured a turbulent year, having only resumed full services in February after financial difficulties in December 2016 led the Federal Air Transport Agency, Rosaviatsia, to impose temporary restrictions on its Air Operator Certificate (AOC).
