Mistral Warbirds' Canadair-built CL-13B Sabre Mk.6, F-AYSB, has performed at a number of airshows since arriving in Europe earlier this year. The first such event was at BA115 Orange-Caritat in France held over May 24 to 25. The owner, display pilot Frederick Akary, has based the jet, now the only airworthy Sabre in Europe, at Avignon Caumont in the south of France. The former Luftwaffe machine has also appeared at La Ferte Alais and the Paris Air Show in June and is expected to attend the Paris-Villaroche Air Legend show (September 7-8) and Jersey International Air Display (September 12).
