With the Panavia Tornado GR4's retirement slated for March 31, the type's remaining units, IX (Bomber) and 31 Squadrons, have applied special markings to two aircraft, ZG775 and ZD716 respectively. A third GR4, ZG752, has since been painted in grey-green camouflage reminiscent of the colours worn by the Tornado GR1 when it entered service in the early 1980s. The three aircraft conducted an air-to-air photoshoot from RAF Marham on January 23, with the newly painted ZG752 being unveiled in its commemorative livery.
