Fleet Changes at Boscombe Down

The Empire Test Pilots' School (ETPS) has withdrawn its Tucanos from service at Boscombe Down, Wiltshire, as a result of fleet modernisation within QinetiQ and the ETPS. The two Tucano T1s operated by the ETPS, ZF510 and ZF511, were retired during November. The precise dates of their final flights are unconfirmed, but the last reported sortie was flown by ZF510 on November 15. Both are now stored at Boscombe Down.
