With suppliers firming up for the C919 narrowbody offering by the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC),rnGE Aviation Systems and AVIC Systems got the nod for supplying the avionics core processing system, display system and on-board maintenance system for the aircraft, as part of the AVIC GE joint venture.
