This is the thirty-sixth of a series of articles that will review historical Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) responses with significant lessons to learn. We will try to read between the lines of accident reports, magazine articles, conference presentations, pictures, and other information sources to attempt to determine what problems the emergency responders encountered, as well as their resulting size-up, action plan, and end results. We will try to learn from the past, in order to be able to perform better in the future.
