Austrian Airlines will continue to grow to markets that can be reached within six hours from Central Europe, and says the Middle East and Eastern Europe will play a large role in those plans. To attract more customers on its medium-haul aircraft in these markets, the airline is converting four A320s with 24 massaging sleeper seats in Business Class through next September. It also will install fixed walls between Business and Economy classes. The aircraft will be used exclusively on flights to Damascus, Cairo, Tehran and Dubai. After next September, it will add Astana in Central Asia.
