Scotland's oldest working distillery, Glenturret, is now the home of The Famous Grouse Experience, a £2.5m project which is being visited by 130,000 people a year.. The visitor centre/distillery, located near Crieff and 15 minutes away from Gleneagles has now been upgraded, with new projectors driving interactive presentations. Following a tour round the Glenturret distillery and a whisky tasting — where visitors put to the test not only their test buds, but also their sense of smell — the Famous Grouse visitor experience finishes with an interactive presentation held in a dark 12m x 5m space.
