Across the table and across the oceans AV technology is helping business people to make better decisions faster, and if you've had a few mauvais quarts d'heure with so-called collaboration technology in the past it may be time to give it another chance. "AV technology for remote meetings has made massive leaps in quality compared with the jerky stereotypes that users might be expecting," says Jon Sidwick, vice-president, Europe of distributor TD Maverick. "Setting up a meeting of this nature is now simple and quick." "Instead, concepts like visual thinking are becoming widely established, and digital whiteboards are turning meeting rooms into co-creation spaces that also allow remote participants to contribute in exactly the same fashion as those in the room," he says.
