The eSports industry is rapidly growing, with no signs of slowing down. The worldwide revenue of eSports in 2018 was at $800 million, according to CCN Markets, with 407 million global fans. Fast forward a year, Forbes Magazine recorded the revenue stood at over $1 billion and 443 million global fans. eSport tournaments eSports tournaments can vary in many ways, from the size and destination of the tournament to what game is played. Millions of viewers tune in to watch these events, with thousands turning up to public matches to watch their favourite gamers compete live. As these tournaments have increased in popularity, there has been a demand for them to be held in arenas, also known as LAN Centres and Gaming Centres. These centres have opened a new market for pro AV equipment.
