Its digital platform, DigitalMedia has been an industry standard for AV signal distribution for more than a decade. Crestron brought some of the first Ethernet products to the market in 1995 with a device to connect projectors to the network and manage them - this led to Room View around 2003 followed by Fusion. The company helped transition the industry to streamlined, easy-to-use, intelligent devices that enhance the user's experience and are simpler to install and manage. Today it seems obvious, but back in 1995, the AV industry did not embrace connected devices.
