Which regions of the world are most concerned by the increase in global sourcing at PSA? Global Sourcing is not an end in itself. The economic gain coming from our plants has to be real. The further afield we go, the more the advantage diminishes. So, when seen from the plant at Sochaux, it is simpler from the supply point of view, to buy from Slovakia, the Czech Republic or southern Poland than it is from the south of Spain or Portugal. The largest contributors in global sourcing terms are thus the countries of the Central and East European region. Turkey and China are developing well. In the Maghreb too, we are sourcing a large part of our wiring looms.
