In spite of todays less-expensive gasoline and diesel, fuel still continues to be one of the top expenses facing fleets. In addition to tried-and-true ways to reduce fuel expenses, technology and out-of-the-box thinking have helped fleets save on fuel costs. Although they're not quite top-of-mind for fleets in general over the past couple of years, alternative-fuel vehicles are also contributing to fuel savings.
