I've worked for Honda for more than 30 years and lots of my work has focused on reducing emissions. The technology which we were developing for ultra-low emission vehicles was used to reduce the harmful tailpipe emissions: NOx, hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide. It was very innovative. Current gasoline engines have levels of almost zero. Now, in terms of harmful emissions, everyone is looking at moving CO_2 levels down.
