Daimler will develop a new generation of fuel cells to power its sedans

Daimler will begin production of fuel-cell stacks that could power its C- and E-Class sedans. The OEM will begin small-scale series production of the fuel-cell stacks in 2013 at a new facility in Canada after it has completed a graduated test and commissioning phase. Daimler is developing the next generation of fuel-cell technology so that it can be packaged in a variety of vehicles. And it is hoped that the technology produced from 2013 will be used in sedans such as the C-Class and E-Class.
