Volvo will test autonomous cars on public roads in 2017

Volvo will put 100 autonomous cars on public roads around Gothenburg in Sweden as part of the Drive Me project from 2017. The vehicles will help the project to gather more information on infrastructure requirements for driverless cars, what scenarios they are best suited to, and how other drivers interact with them. The autonomous cars will be driven by members of the public.
