Global warming predictions questioned

Global wanning predictions based on computer simulations have limited validity and the physical evidence is very dubious delegates were told at the 20th International Congress of Refrigeration held recently in Sydney. Despite the unsatisfactory nature of the scientific debate a public consensus has appeared which has driven large-scale government activity to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. So far the emphasis has been on carbon dioxide from combustion processes but the net is now being widened to include methane and refrigerants. The refrigeration industry is now beginning to be influenced by these effects.
