Kevin Burrows - dynamic personality

One of Tasmania's most dynamic HVAC&R industry personalities, Kevin Burrows', state manager for Honeywell Building Controls, is proof that hard work and dedication have their rewards. When he joined Honeywell in 1968 as a young technical representative, the Beatles had just toured Australia, the first miniskirts were causing a scandal and Neil Armstrong had yet to land on the moon. Kevin Burrows was born in Hobart in 1942 and grew up in the suburb of Sandy Bay. After being educated at Albuera Secondary School in Hobart, he was apprenticed in 1958 by Hobart electrical contractors, Medhurst's Pty Ltd. While working at Medhurst's between 1958 and 1962 he completed an Electrical Mechanic Apprenticeship at the Hobart Technical College.
