National office activities update

In January 1999 I reported on AIRAH's national activities with an overview of what lies ahead. I am pleased to say that the re-positioning of AIRAH has been very successful to date and lots of opportunities are being presented to our institute that will improve AIRAH's professional standing and recognition in the HVAC&R industry. Most, if not all members will be aware of the appointment of Jennifer Pelvin as Acting Executive Director at the October 1998 Council meeting. Jennifer's role is to administer AIRAH's affairs during this transitional period. I have asked Jennifer to provide an insight into the activities of the last few months.
