Winter is fast approaching us, with temperatures now dropping down to -27℃ during the day. It's hard to breathe due to the cold air and walking around becomes difficult. More clothing is required, thermal top and bottom, sometimes two pairs of trousers, woollen shirt, jumper, heavy insulated coat, gloves, hat and heavy insulated boots. All buildings have cold porches. This is where all your excessive clothing is removed and stored before you enter the buildings. It also acts as a vapour barrier from outside temperatures. Internal building temperatures are maintained at 20℃.
