Amcor grows India operation

Amcor has acquired Packaging India Private Limited (PIPL) from Essel Propack, a publicly listed specialty packaging company. The acquisition, worth US$26.4m will give Amcor a further three plants located in the North and South of India. Amcor already runs four flexible packaging plants across the North and West of India.
