Margaret River maintains its reputation for quality

The Margaret River wine region is part of the southwest Australia zone and is surrounded, but not bordered by, Geographe to the north, Blackwood Valley to the east and Pemberton further to the southeast. The region is adjacent to the Indian Ocean, approximately three hours drive directly south of Perth. The rolling hills of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste ridge extend north-south between Cape Leeuwin and Cape Naturaliste providing an abundance of small creeks, gentle valleys and native vegetation.
