Chenin Blanc is one of the principal varieties in the Swan District (encompassing Swan Valley and Gingin), in Western Australia. Houghton and Moondah Brook have long produced varietal and blended Chenin Blanc wines. The iconic Houghton White Classic (formerly Houghton White Burgundy) is a blend of predominantly Chenin Blanc. Amberley, based in Margaret River, produces a Chenin Blanc in an off-dry style from grapes sourced from the southwest of Western Australia.
