The BRIC countries of Brazil, Russia, India and China are generally viewed as considerable growth opportunities for wine sales. The BRIC are both the fastest growing and largest emerging markets economies. They also account for almost three billion people, or just under half of the total population of the world. In recent times, the BRIC have also been the major contributors to world GDP growth. Consumers in all four countries have an increasing taste for wine.
